Mount Olympos, ( 2.366m) also called Tahtalı dağı is part of the Lycian Way The views from the top are fabulous. The Mediterranean Sea stretches as far as you can see on one side, while the other side is a carpet of forest crowned by the snow-covered peaks of the Olympos Beydağları Mountains. On this short walking holiday we will walk from Gedelme on the south slopes of the mountain to the Lighthouse a Cape Gelidonia, one of the most beautiful routes on the Lycian way.
Itinerary:
Day 1: After meeting in Antalya, transfer to Gedelme .Walk Gedelme- Yayla Kuzdere
Day 2: Yayla Kuzdere- Çukur Yaylası- Beycik. Transfer to Çıralı
Day 3: Çıralı- Olympos- Adrasan.
Day 4: Adrasan- Cape Gelidonya .transfer to Antalya.
Details:
Day1. Antalya. Walk Gedelme to Yayla Kuzdere
After meeting group and guide in Antalya, transfer to Gedelme for the first walk to Yayla Kuzdere.The afternoon’s walk is short and gentle, climbing up a good track with ever-more-majestic scenery to the tiny settlement of Yayla Kuzdere, an oasis of green amid the starkness of the mountains.
Overnight in Yayla Kuzdere. Wooden cabins (HB)
Walk:7km/ 2,5 hrs/
Day 2. Yayla Kuzdere to Beycik.
A glorious, quite demanding day, which takes you up into the mountains on pine
needlefloored paths to a lonely farm on the saddle belowTahtali Dag (Olympos), before plunging down to the mountain resort of Beycik. Transfer to Çıralı.
Overnight in Seaside pension in Çıralı. (HB)
Walk:16 km/ 6,5 hrs / + 800 m/-1.200 m
Day 3. Çıralı to Adrasan.
A beautiful walk. Starting with a morning’s beachwalk past Olympos and a stiff climb through strawberry (arbutus) treewoods, the afternoon will take you from high pastures down through pine and deciduous woods on a pretty and winding path. The walk ends with a stroll along the river bank to your hotel for the night.

Day 4. Adrasan to the Lighthouse. Transfer to Antalya.
Enjoy the wildest part of your journey which has been saved for your last walking day.From the beach at Adrasan, the route climbs up a pretty path to a pass. From there it tracks the sea along a dramatic coastline, eventually arriving at the lighthouse of Kilidonya. After the walk transfer to Antalya.
Walk: 18 km/ 7hrs /, + 700/ – 700m.

After a transfer to Termessos explore the site ( 2 hrs)and walk down from Termessos to the trout farm following the ancient trail over footpaths which are stoney and difficult in parts.
Pick up at the trout farm and transfer back to your hotel.
Exhilarating walk which uses a little-known old trail through a magnificient wooded gorge with steep sided mountains around.
